Dr. Bilha Piamenta

Bilha is a member of a long established Jerusalem family.
She holds a Ph.D. in Geography from Bar Ilan University and an additional Ph.D. from Sussex University, UK.
Bilha served in the IDF in the Jerusalem City Officer's Unit.
Following her army service, Bilha was employed in the David Yellin Academic College.
Bilha also establishing teams educational master plans in Beer Sheva, Kiriyat Shmonah, Petach Tikvah, North Galilee, Maaleh Yosef.
In 1993 Bilha initiated and established the "Kav Or" organization which provides long-distance teaching, via computers, for children in hospitals.
In 2013, in order to ensure Kav Or's continued operation, the organization was transferred to the auspices of the World Ort Organization and its Israeli representative, Kadima Meda.
Bilha then initiated a new organization, "Or LeDor".

Dr. Amnon Shinar

Born in Tel Aviv, grew up in Rehovot, resides in Jerusalem
Married to Yael, father of 3 sons and a daughter, grandfather of 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.
Studied Education and Geography in Minneapolis, Oxford and Jerusalem.
Worked in education and research in the Israeli Educational System at all levels, from primary school to university.
Consultant in urban planning.
For 12 years before his retirement served as Director General of the Israel-Canada Fund (UIA of Canada).
From 2001 – 2012 served as Chairperson of the Kav Or organization.
In 2011 was a partner in the establishment of Or LeDor and is its current Chairperson.

Anat Altman

Member of the IT staff of the Israeli Electricity Company.
Holds B.A. and M.A. in Geography from the Hebrew University, with specialization in Urban Studies.
Volunteers with local projects in the"Yuvalim" neighbourhood in Jerusalem.
Volunteered with Kav Or in the field of computing and event organization.
Board member of Or LeDor.

Avraham Gavish

Position:Married, father of three.
Holds B.A. in nursing and is certified in management of health infrastructures.
Has over 20 years of work experience in the field of geriatrics. For the last 12 years, Director of the Kiryat Menahem Retirement Home, a public home which provides services for a low socio-economic population.

Professor Rafael Yudassin

Head of the Pediatric Surgery Departments in Hadassah Ein Kerem and Hadassah Mt. Scopus.
Long term associate and board member of Kav Or. One of the founders and board member of Or LeDor.

Dr. Yoram Maaravi

Head of Geriatric Rehabilitation at the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Centers.
Specialist in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Metabolism, and Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.
An active geriatrician for more than 20 years; dedicated to research for the improvement of quality of life in old age.

Professor Joseph Shelhav

One of the founders of the Department of Geography in Bar Ilan University. Currently Dean of the School of Eretz Yisrael Studies in Jerusalem and Lander Institute, Academic Center, Jerusalem.
Specialist in Social, Cultural and Political Geography. Publications include research on the organization of the Charedi community and on territorial attitudes and their effects.

Joseph Tussiah Cohen

Born and resides in Jerusalem. Married to Tzipporah, father of 3, grandfather of 8.
Graduate of the Hebrew University Faculty of Law. Independent lawyer, arbitrator and mediator.
Served as Chairperson of the Jerusalem Chamber of Lawyers. Chairperson of the "Sachar Mitzvah" program of the Jerusalem Chamber of Lawyers.
Chairperson of the Kiryat Menahem Retirement Home.
Volunteer chief superintendent in the Israeli Police Force.
Member of public charitable organizations.
